Renaissance Philosophy Online (RPO) is a permanent seminar where Renaissance scholars from diverse countries and backgrounds can share their research, thoughts, and expertise. Through the history of Renaissance philosophy, we aim to explore how philosophers, physicians, philologists, science practitioners, editors, and artists endeavoured to articulate a new way of thinking in order to understand the new world that was taking shape at the time. We strongly believe that by opening various perspectives on Renaissance philosophy and by embracing an expanded definition of the term 'philosophy' to encompass the wide range of sciences, arts, and crafts that coexisted with it during that period, we can gain a deeper understanding of this pivotal turning point in the history of culture. Furthermore, RPO is designed as a welcoming forum for young scholars seeking to engage with Renaissance specialists, where they can receive feedback, suggestions, and inspiration for new avenues of research.
